Promote Fiscal Responsibility
Milton Freedman once said that if you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there’d be a shortage of sand. At the local level however, Tulsa has the opportunity to elect servants who possess a conservative vision—a vision focused on growth, not burden and on efficiency, not mismanagement. As a life-long Oklahoman and Tulsan, I value the strong work ethic that defines our community and continue to ensure that taxes generated by our families are used responsibly. During my elected tenure as your Tulsa County Court Clerk I have used my experience to maximize every dollar, regardless of budget cuts or surpluses. My voice as your County Court Clerk is loud, conservative and most importantly, it reflects the needs of the community I love and serve.
Promote an Efficient Culture
Tulsa is my home and is home to many organizations and corporations that employ thousands of our State’s best. Our small businesses create the backbone of infrastructure which drives our local economy. Today, Tulsa produces more small businesses and is more economically diversified than ever before. This growth did not happen by accident but is the result of ingenuity, resilience and foresight—characteristics that must also exist in County Offices. In my service on the Tulsa County Budget Board, I offer a conservative voice working with the other elected officials on those fiscal challenges we face as a community. In the Court Clerks office I have introduced new management styles, updated the office, introduced new technology, and implemented efficiency standards that increase the customer service experience. I manage the office as close to a business as possible and I will continue to do so by introducing new technologies, increasing modernization, improving efficiency, and progressively creating stronger customer experiences.
